“Stop Shootin” tours Tritonic

Comments Off 17 August 2010

A awesome friend/client of mines Orane Williams is running the “Stop Shootin’” Summer Entrepreneurship program this year and asked if he could bring the kids over to Tritonic to visit and learn about the studio. It was awesome! I love working with kids (well teaching them a few things) and it’s important for me to do things like this because I want our youth to know as much as possible about the world and what’s in it. The tour consisted of meeting key staff members, learning what we do individually, as an agency and showing them around the work place. It was a great experience for me, the staff of Tritonic as well as the kids.

We surveyed our area, planned key high traffic locations, mapped out the entire Hamilton Square neighborhood, then came up with all messaging, tag lines, & design making sure everything connected and remained on brand… ABRACADABRA… the “Walkable Living” campaign was born. Created for our client Silverman Building, the campaign has been an enormous success by the collaborative efforts of the TRITONIC team.

From TRITONIC brains… to the dry erase board… to the computer… to the printers… to the streets of Jersey City and surrounding areas – the campaign lives on buildings,  billboards, banners, websites, magazines, mass transit systems, even on a smart cars.

If you have visited the Jersey City area and have been through Hamilton Square. Take note of the green signage with white arrows pointing everywhere and the advancement of integrated printed digital ads by the way of QR codes. This system put in place, not only directs people walking around town, but through the use of QR codes walkers are directed to the key websites which expand the walkable experience putting the campaign on another level.

Be intrigued by Walkable Living, brought to you by TRITONIC.

My homie Rebecca Jampol from GlocallyNewark.com recently opened a vintage consignment boutique here in Newark, NJ. I walk pass Rebecca everyday before I get to my desk and I always like what she have on. I’m like “Rebecca, where do you get all the cool clothes?” I didn’t know I have an eye for vintage clothing but I guess I do. The shop is named Soiled Apparel (dope name!) located at 972 Broad St. Newark NJ and hours are 12pm – 6pm, Wed – Friday. By the way, Soiled Apparel isn’t just for women. They have select men’s items and artist made t-shirts. I’ll take pictures of the shop soon! Enjoy!

It’s the end of the day and I’m listening to my top rated playlist from my ipod. Jay Z’s “On to the Next” is now playing and I couldn’t help but to visualize the video. So I figured I’d post it. :)
